Ube Type Extract, Natural Flavor Blend has a nutty, vanilla-like flavor with subtle coconut notes. This flavor can be used in a wide range of baked goods and other applications requiring a water soluble flavor. In your typical 3 cup baking mix recipe we recommend using one teaspoon, or 0.50% by weight of the dry ingredients. This flavor is clear and near colorless and does not contain any added purple food coloring. It can be used in conjunction with natural or synthetic water based colors if a deep purple color is desired.
