Shiso, which is commonly known as the "Beefsteak" plant in English speaking countries, is widely used in Japanese and Southeast Asian cuisines. We recommend a starting use level of 0.10% to 0.30% in beer, cider and wine. In high proof spirits start at 0.50%. This flavor is TTB approved.
